ICT Sales Specialist

The ICT (Information Communication Technology) Sales Specialist is a consultative sales executive responsible for winning new business, generating revenue and establishing relationships and positioning of GreenFlow Financial specialty products and services within our medium and major account markets. The Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities based on customer business needs and resolving them through specialty solution selling. This customer-facing role must have the ability to collaborate with the account team in support of the sales strategy, including engagements with key internal stakeholders such as marketing, underwriting, and administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently identify, initiate, qualify, position and closure of opportunities that meet medium and major account growth and revenues objectives
  • Technical sales of supportable and profitable specialty products to resolve a client's business and operational needs
  • Be the trusted advisor and establish strong business value and lasting relationships to targeted list of clients while improving the customer experience
  • Effectively engage and establish ties with internal stakeholders
  • Establish in-depth knowledge and expertise of specialty solutions, processes and policies for effective sales positioning
  • Prepare winning proposals, presentations, quotations, contracts and supporting documentation in support of sales activities
  • Ensure appropriate and prompt delivery of services to clients while setting expectations of internal stakeholders
  • Ensure proper hand-off of customer requirements to internal stakeholders including assistance with sales order entry and fulfillment of technical questionnaires and documentation
  • Assist with post sales support and liaise with the customer as requested to ensure correct and timely delivery and operational support of services sold
  • Team player, able to share best practices, industry knowledge and competitive information for the betterment of the overall Sales Specialist community

Required Knowledge

  • Proficient and relentless on all sales related activities - prospecting, qualifying, closing, negotiating
  • Clear understanding of the customer buying and sales cycles
  • Strong business acumen to intimately understand customer goals, commerce and operations
  • Proven consultative selling skills to offer end-to-end solutions fit to business customers
  • Exceptional finance-based selling skills, able to articulate business value, total cost of ownership and investment returns to client decision-makers
  • Strong Information Technology, IP and networking knowledge to credibly sell and represent:

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • University education and/or technology diploma
  • IT, service provider, industry sales and/or vendor certifications an asset

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in information technology, networking in a customer facing role
  • Proven record in strategic selling demonstrated through performance against sales quota
